'Polly' vintage starflower posy hairpin
A new design prompted by a lovely commission from a bride-to-be in Ireland. The hairpin in the top picture is layered with two vintage starflowers, sandwiched with multiple layeres of ivory tulle, giving the flowers a slightly hazy effect. Dreamy! The pic underneath has small clear crystals embroidered onto the tulle - this is how would look if it wasn't layered. The pics below show a work in progress. In the centre of the flower is a tiny vintage white lace daisy and a soft silver freshwater pearl. They look lovely worn in bunches of three, pinned into a side swept bun or ponytail.
